Our partners have been working hard to ensure the safety of guests and staff during the reopening process. We've put together a resource page with additional safety protocols our meeting and event spaces have put in place as they welcome you back! 

Here's what you can expect:

THE GLEN SANDERS MANSION

Safety Protocols for Events:

  • Staff are responsibly distanced in our kitchens.
  • Staff will continuously be trained on food safety and handling, including ServSafe Food Handler training.
  • Staff will be required to wear masks and gloves at all times; before and during events.
  • Cocktail, Corporate Events: MAX of 50 guests. 
  • 6' will be between each chair.
  • Tables will be 72" round tables of 3.

 

Safety Protocols for hotel:

  • Vendors making deliveries and non-essential visitors are not allowed inside our facilities. 
  • Hourly disinfecting of frequently touched surfaces and delivery vehicles using anti-viral disinfectant.
  • Vigilant hygiene awareness through signage and regular training of proper hand-washing, sneeze, and cough etiquette.
  • Staff will have a thorough training in current safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Daily temperature and wellness checks of staff.
  • Work areas will have increased work space and communal event space cleaning and sanitizing procedures.

KEY HALL AT PROCTORS

Safety Protocols for Events:

COURTYARD BY MARRIOTT SCHENECTADY AT MOHAWK HARBOR

Safety Protocols for events and hotel:

  • High-traffic areas will have increased cleaning frequency.
  • Hand sanitizing stations are being installed at hotel entrances, at front desks, elevator banks, and meeting spaces.
  • Signage in public spaces will remind guests to maintain social distancing.
  • Partitions have been added at check-in to provide an extra level of precaution for guests and associates.
  • Guest rooms will be cleaned with hospital-grade disinfectants.
  • Each room will have disinfecting wipes in each room for your use.
  • Electrostatic sprayers to sanitize surfaces throughout the hotel.
  • The staff is also testing ultraviolet light technology for sanitizing guest keys and devices shared by associates.
  • Mobile App check ins- your phone can be used for check in, access to your room and ordering room service. 

DOUBLETREE BY HILTON

Safety Protocols for Events:

  • A cleaning protocol checklist is completed to verify an event space is sanitized and disinfected thirty minutes prior to meeting start.
  • Top 10 high touch areas including tables, chairs, door handles, podium, AV equipment, etc. will have additional sanitization and disinfection protocols.
  • Sanitizing stations will have prominence in primary entryways as well as key high traffic areas including inside and outside event space(s), meal and beverage service areas, public restrooms and congregating areas.
  • Vendor compliance to all standards and floor plans must be submitted to hotel for approval in advance of meeting.
  • Respecting physical distancing with creative and customized meeting sets and meal service.
  • Meals, services and operational procedures adhering to physical distancing regional regulations, amplified hygiene & sanitation requirements, additional space to accommodate attendee flow.
  • Contactless experiences with digital check-in and check-out, digital key for guest rooms and contactless communication.

Safety Protocols for hotel:

  • Lobby seating arranged to accommodate social distancing.
  • Hand sanitizer stations near elevators.
  • As you approach your room, you'll see that it has been sealed by housekeeping after deep cleaning and disinfection. The seal confirms no one has been in your room since it was cleaned.
  • Deep-cleaned room- comforter has been washed at high temperature after every stay.
  • Printed collateral has been removed from all rooms.
  • When fitness centers open up they will be arranged to accommodate social distancing.
  • Room service will be contactless.
  • Disinfectant wipes will be on hotel shuttle.
  • Contactless check-out. 

COMFORT INN & SUITES

Safety Protocols for events and hotel:

  • Heightened cleaning protocols for high-traffic areas such as the front desk, fitness centers and pools, as well as other high-touch surfaces throughout the hotel, using hospital-grade disinfectant approved by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
  • Every guest must follow social distancing guidelines. 
  • Close association with Ecolab, who is helping ensure the property has the right infection prevention programs.
