Schenectady County was the place to be this past weekend! Discover Schenectady Kicked Off Summer in Central Park this past Saturday with a FULL day of live music, food, beer & all kinds of activities thanks to our wonderful community partners! In case you missed it, we've rounded up all the fun that took place: 

Create Community Studios spent the afternoon with kids creating zentangle hands!

If you stopped by the miSci booth, Frank & Marko were doing dry ice demonstrations and make your own rockets!

For those who were feeling a little adventurous got the chance to zipline down the hill with Mountain Ridge Adventure!  

Clinton Street Mercantile had lots of fun happening at their booth! In addition to selling merchandise, they had a live painter and a mini succulent workshop.

Proctors was allowing kids to get creative and decorate their own pinecone! 

If you had a sweet tooth, the Riverside Maple Farms booth was the place to be. You were able to walk away with some maple cotton candy and some of their delicious maple syrup. 

Riot Room brought their 16 foot trailer and allowed attendees to step inside for 10 minutes to break objects for fun!

In addition to the wonderful activities, Central Park was rocking with live performances by Jazz VibesGirl BlueNorth & South DakotasMeta & The Cornerstones & the Empire State Youth Orchestra

In between music sets, attendees were lining up in the parking lot for Mr. Ding A LingMike's HotdogsHomestyle Pizza and of course to get some craft beer from Mad Jack Brewing!

We had a wonderful time enjoying some gorgeous weather, beautiful music and great food and fun with our vendors!
