Schenectady River Rink

Get ready for some Winter fun on ice!

Discover Schenectady is excited to announce the new winter attraction at Mohawk Harbor! The Schenectady River Rink is open to the public December 10th through the end of February. 

The new outdoor winter attraction will feature a 60’x100’ ice skating rink open to the public that will be located next to Druthers at Mohawk Harbor. The new winter rink will include skate rentals, entertainment, heated hospitality tent and themed kiosks around the rink adjacent to the amphitheater area where the summer concert series, Harbor Jam, is held. During the holidays, Beekman 1802 will host a Holiday Pop-up Shop at the River Rink.

AFTER THE HOLIDAYS, STARTING JANUARY 1:

Mohawk Harbor Mondays: 50% off skate rentals and skate rentals for locals. Buy at the box office and show ID.

Highmark Hero's Night: Every Tuesday, 50% off skate sessions and skate rentals for healthcare hero, veterans, and their families. 

Costumer Family Night every Wednesday: 20% off skate sessions for the whole family. 

Date Night every Thursday: Buy one, get one free skate sessions for couples. 

Friday open skates: Longer sessions, more ice time. 

HOTEL PACKAGES:

The Landing Hotel- Receive a $99 room rate for Standard or Deluxe rooms when you purchase a ticket to the Mohawk Harbor Ice Rink. Available Sundays-Thursdays. Valid identification and Ice Rink ticket must be presented at check-in. Reservations can be made online. 

Courtyard by Marriott at Mohawk Harbor- Book a room at the Courtyard by Marriott and receive (2) free ice skating admission tickets! Reservations can be made online.
